Do you have a passion for travel and tourism and want to launch a career in this exciting sector? Would you also benefit from an extra year of academic preparation before embarking on a full tourism degree? The BA (Hons) Business (Tourism) course offered at our Berlin campus brings you the best of both of these worlds, helping you shape a successful career as a tourism professional after graduation.
Today’s tourism industry is looking for fresh graduates who can create and lead successful businesses that will support sustainable tourism in challenging global circumstances. Focusing on tourism management from a sustainable perspective, you’ll learn how global tourist destinations and accommodation services are planned, marketed and managed. You’ll also study course modules covering key business areas including marketing, business planning, and finance, which means you’ll graduate with highly sought-after business skills that will give you a wide range of career options after graduating from the course.
Arden’s foundation year degree courses are the ideal pathway if you don’t currently meet our standard entry requirements, or if it’s been a while since you were in formal education and need to refresh your research, essay writing, and numeracy skills. Once your foundation year is completed, you’ll be able to progress the first year of the full degree course with confidence. Enrolling with Arden University in Berlin also means you’ll be able to work in Germany as you study with us, as well as being able to apply for an 18-month working visa after graduation.
My tutors assist me any time I have a question, and my classmates are very helpful too. If we have any problems in our assignments or don't understand something then we ask our tutor, and they respond right away and clear things up.
Your initial foundation year is made up of 6 modules. Then, to complete your full bachelor’s degree, you’ll study 360 credit hours over three years, which are made up of 16 modules over years 2, 3, and 4, and a dissertation.
