With Arden's Level 6 Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship, you'll study your degree alongside developing your skills and behaviours through continuous application of your learning into the workplace.
We have worked with employers to ensure that your programme develops your knowledge, skills and behaviours to enable you to stand out from your peers and be the best manager you can be. This degree apprenticeship is designed to equip you with the knowledge and understanding of key cross-functional business and management disciplines while you continue to work in your current role. Whether it's developing personal and management skills or the ability to respond to the contemporary and evolving business environment, this Level 6 Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship will support you to graduate with an accredited degree, a diploma in management and leadership, extensive management experience and also gain Chartered Manager status.
This degree apprenticeship is delivered online. You will access your modules through our virtual classroom, iLearn. Throughout each study block you will attend your scheduled teaching and learning sessions during working hours and work with an Arden University coach who will guide you every step of the way with regular virtual meetings. Your coach will guide you to ensure you are effectively applying and evidencing your new knowledge, whilst developing and demonstrating the skills and behaviours considered essential for success in your role.
What’s more, your employers can fund this course by applying for the apprenticeship levy, meaning no cost for you, and minimal (sometimes zero) costs for your employer.
Arden’s Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship offers the opportunity to develop a wider understanding and knowledge of business management in areas such as people leadership and talent management, finance, digital and social marketing, consumer insights, project management, entrepreneurship and innovation.

Our aim is to make learning as accessible as possible by ensuring that you can join us, wherever you are.
That's why we keep our requirements simple. All you need is a laptop or computer (we recommend one running the latest version of Windows), and a good stable internet connection. With this one tool, you'll be able to access information, advice, support, learning materials and our online library, as well as create assignments, keep notes, and collaborate with other students effectively.
Learners enrolling on this degree apprenticeship must meet the following criteria:
It is a condition of apprenticeship funding, at any level, that all applicants are able to evidence GCSE English and Maths passes at grade A*- C/9-4 or commit to completing Functional Skills Level 2, in addition to the programme. If required, this is provided at no additional cost.
The cost of this programme will be funded by the apprenticeship levy which means that that you can obtain this Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship at no cost of your own. Please note your employer must be in support of your application.

The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) promotes excellence in UK management and leadership. As the CMI possesses a Royal Charter, they are the only organisation in the UK that can award Chartered Manager status to their members – the gold standard in management. With 140,000 members, the institute aims to boost career development across the management sector and connect like-minded professionals.
As an Arden student, you’ll have free CMI Membership throughout your studies, giving you access to a range of additional resources including a mentoring service and invitations to networking events both online and offline.
Upon completion of this CMI-accredited course, you will be awarded CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership and gain CMI Foundation Chartered Manager Status. This recognises you have the skills needed to be an effective manager, helping you stand out from the competition and start your management career journey - with a CMI qualification and a clear pathway to full Chartered Manager status.
*Upon completion of your course, the CMI award and level of chartered status awarded will depend on your level and length of study, whether you entered your course with Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL) or if any compensation is applied on your modules throughout the duration of study.
