Following consultation with our international alumni and employers, we have developed this Blended Learning MBA to build and hone your broad management skills for delivering strategy and change within the complex landscape of modern business.

You’ll consider your own role as a manager and at how you lead people as well as develop a strategic awareness of the commercial environment in which you operate. The development and implementation of strategy and how you can sustain both yourself and the organisation you manage in the future are also themes you will explore.

Within this framework you will study the key management functions, such as marketing, finance and HRM but in a way that shows how they relate to each other - with plenty of opportunities to apply your learning to your own workplace and learn from your fellow classmates.

Assessments:

Assessments are designed to provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate your strengths in a number of ways and so a variety of methods are used. A critical element of the assessment strategy is that you’ll have the chance to apply your learning directly into your day to day role. A vital part of your work will be the opportunity to create and take ownership of a detailed piece of research relating to a management issue.

To support your development, we will provide you with academic support both at our study centres and online to make sure you have the skills in place to successfully complete every assessment you submit. Your Arden tutor will be able to give you suggestions and tips for improvement and help you understand how to apply your newly-acquired skills into real life settings.

Arden University requires you to meet certain eligibility criteria before you enrol with us. To be eligible for this Blended Learning MBA course you must have:

  • A UK Honours Degree at a minimum of second class (2.2) or equivalent
  • 2 years suitable work experience

For students whose prior learning was not taught in English, you must have IELTS 6.5 or equivalent (no less than 6.0 in any element).

If you don’t have academic qualifications

We are more than happy to consider, and positively encourage, an application from you at Arden if have substantial suitable work experience (typically 5 years senior level experience) and can show us that you have the motivation to study our programme. We’ll ask you for a personal statement that demonstrates your ability to study the course. We may also want references and evidence of relevant experiences.
