To support your development and ensure that you’re on the right track with your studies, you’ll receive tutor feedback for every assessment you submit.

Entry Requirements

This course has standard entry requirements.

To be eligible for this course through the standard entry requirements you must have either:

two subjects at GCE A level or equivalent, plus passes at grade C or above in three subjects at GCSE level or equivalent;
or
completed a recognised Access Programme or equivalent.

Don’t meet the standard entry requirements, but have work experience?

We are happy to consider an application from you if you can show us you have the motivation to study the programme.

We’ll ask you for a personal statement that demonstrates your ability to study the course. We’ll also ask you for references and evidence of relevant work experience.

Don’t have any of the above?

We also offer this course as a four-year degree which includes a foundation year (subject to validation). This first year prepares you for university-level study and is ideal if you don’t have the formal qualifications or work experience detailed above.

Non-native English speaker?
If your prior learning was not taught in English we require IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (no less than 5.5 in any element). Get in touch with any questions.

Please note: candidates who do not have GCSE English or Maths may be required to undertake a numeracy or literacy assessment for entry.

UK Fees and Funding

The tuition fee for this course is £6,000 per level.

The most common funding for undergraduate UK students is a Tuition Fee Loan from the UK Government.

You can get a loan to cover the full cost of your tuition fees

You only start to pay it back when you are earning over £21,000 a year.

Your tuition fees are paid directly to the University by the loan company.

UK students who study our full-time blended learning courses may also be eligible for a Maintenance Loan from the UK Government. This is to help with costs such as food, accommodation and travel. You can find further information here.

EU/International Fees and Funding

This course is available to people who are already eligible to work or study in the UK. If you are based outside the UK, this course is also available as a distance learning programme

If you’re not 100% comfortable with university level study choosing 4 year degree would be a smart choice. The first year is designed to give you the basics needed to successfully complete the rest of the degree as it focuses on essential study skills. You will build your confidence and become a capable, well equipped student who is able to complete the full degree.

The four year degree is perfect for you if:

  • It’s been a while since you studied
  • You don’t feel you did well in previous academic study
  • You want to improve your time management skills
  • You’re not confident in writing assignments and would like some support
  • You want to learn research skill that can support your studies and assignments
  • You want some extra knowledge of the degree subject before beginning the course.

This foundation year is part of the full degree. If you are funding your degree by Tuition Fee Loan from the UK Government, your tuition fee for the foundation year will also be covered in this loan.
