Our BSc (Hons) Accounting & Finance Degree course at Arden University has been designed with your career in mind, covering everything from financial accounting and managing information systems to accounting and financial reporting.

Arden's Blended Learning programme combines face-to-face lectures at one of our study centres - based in Birmingham, Manchester or London - with the flexibility of online study at a time and place to suit you.

On successful completion, you will be equipped with essential financial and management accounting skills, as well as a strong, broad and practical knowledge of the world of finance.

 

ACCA Accredited

Arden’s Accounting & Finance Degree course is an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) accredited programme.

Successful completion of this degree carries maximum exemption to ACCA Membership (papers F1 to F9).

 

Study When it Suits You - Choose Daytime or Evening sessions

Study BSc Accounting and Finance at our Birmingham or Holborn study centre and you can opt for evening classes when you start your Degree from October 2018 onwards.

You’ll attend sessions at your chosen study centre every Monday and Wednesday (Birmingham) or Wednesday and Thursday (Holborn) from 5.30pm to 9.30pm. You can then make up the remainder of your full-time hours online (minimum 12 per week) as and when it suits you.

This Accounting & Finance Degree course has standard entry requirements. To be eligible for this course with Arden University you must have either:

  • Two subjects at GCE A-Level or equivalent, plus passes at grade C or above in Maths and two other subjects at GCSE level or equivalent; OR
  • Completed a recognised Access Programme or equivalent

For students whose prior learning was not taught in English, you must have IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (no less than 5.5 in any element).

Please note: candidates who do not have GCSE English or Maths may be required to undertake a numeracy or literacy assessment for entry.

If you have work experience

We are happy to consider an application from you at Arden if you can show us you have the motivation to study the programme.

We’ll ask you for a personal statement that demonstrates your ability to study the course. We’ll also ask you for references and evidence of relevant work experience.

If you are a UK student, the most common funding of undergraduate degrees is a Tuition Fee Loan from the UK Government. The key information about these loans is:

  • You must be a UK resident
  • You can get a loan to cover the full cost of your tuition fees
  • You only start to pay it back when you are earning over £21,000 a year.
  • Your tuition fees are paid directly to the University by the loan company.

Self-funding - Pay in full or Pay as you go options

You can pay for your course all in one go if you have the funds. There is typically up to 10% off the total price if you pay this way. You can also pay as you go. This means you have no monthly obligations and simply pay for each module when you decide to study it.
