Do you want to work in the legal and justice systems of the UK, but are concerned you won’t qualify for a university degree? We offer this School of Law and Social Science LLB (Hons) Degree as a four-year course with an integrated Foundation Year to give you the skills you need to succeed at undergraduate study.

This course covers the key pillars of legal knowledge and delves into the fundamentals of English Law and the EU legal system. Studying this course will enable you to acquire knowledge and a range of practical and professional legal skills which can be applied to a range of legal and non-legal sectors.

The Blended Learning style provides flexibility through online learning for the working student, and structure and support with two face-to-face sessions a week at one of our study centres. If you want to study law, and are concerned about the entry requirements, the LLB (Hons) QLD with Foundation Year course could be the course for you.

Please note: the academic route training requirements for qualifying as a solicitor are changing.

The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) have announced that, from autumn 2021, upon completion of a degree, those looking to become solicitors will be required to sit and pass two SQE exams, and complete a two-year period of qualifying work experience.

Arden’s LLB (Hons) with Qualifying Status will continue to be accepted as enrolment onto the professional stage of both barristers’ and solicitors’ training.

For more information about the SQE, click here.
