Arden University's Access to HE Diploma (Business) course is designed for students who have a minimum of two years’ experience of life or work after school. Applicants will be asked to submit a personal statement explaining what they have done after leaving school and how they have developed the skills necessary to study. This could include a job or acting as a parent or carer.

For students whose prior learning was not taught in English, you must have IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (no less than 5.5 in any element).

You can support your study in a variety of ways.

If you are a UK student, the most common funding of undergraduate degrees is a Tuition Fee Loan from the UK Government. The key information about these loans is:

  • You must be a UK resident
  • You can get a loan to cover the full cost of your tuition fees
  • You only start to pay it back when you are earning over £21,000 a year.
  • Your tuition fees are paid directly to the University by the loan company.

Self-funding - Pay in full or Pay as you go options

You can pay for your course all in one go if you have the funds. There is typically up to 10% off the total price if you pay this way. You can also pay as you go. This means you have no monthly obligations and simply pay for each module when you decide to study it.
