What does having Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) accreditation mean?

In addition to developing a range of high level transferrable skills and the ability to demonstrate them, this programme is aligned to the CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing.

This means that on graduation, you will be able to add even more value to your Master's qualification by gaining an additional CIM qualification for relatively little extra time and cost.

To be eligible for Arden's Strategic Marketing MA course you must normally have:

  • A UK Honours Degree at a minimum of second class (2.2) or equivalent

For students whose prior learning was not taught in English, you must have IELTS 6.5 or equivalent (no less than 6.0 in any element).

If you don’t have academic qualifications

We are more than happy to consider, and positively encourage, an application from you if you have substantial management experience (typically 5 years) and can show us that you have the motivation to study the programme with Arden University.

We’ll ask you for a personal statement that demonstrates your ability to study the course. We may also want references and evidence of relevant experiences.

If you have other Postgraduate level business awards you may be eligible for entry and/or exemptions. This will be assessed on an individual basis.

Courses including CRM Fundamentals for Salesforce Classic; Measuring your Marketing Impact and the Fourth Industrial Revolution are available to study, and the amount of time needed to complete a Salesforce course ranges from 35 minutes to 21 hours, which you will need to fit in around your degree study time, at a pace to suit you.

These courses are an added extra, and you decide whether or how many you complete. Your participation won’t have any effect on your degree or the grades you receive.
