To be eligible for this course you should have:

  • a HND in Business or equivalent, provided that your prior learning is consistent with Level 5 of the functional areas of business (Finance, Marketing, HRM and Operations Management)

For students whose prior learning was not taught in English:

  • IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.

If you have previously completed an HND in Business (or equivalent) then you could achieve a full undergraduate honours degree with just 9 months of further study.

Whether it’s through understanding the issues facing modern tourism, understanding the nature of domestic vs international travel, or analysing data to improve business performance, completing this Top-Up degree will give you the skills needed to work in the tourism industry. You will leave with a solid understanding of the fundamentals of general business management.

If you are a UK student, the most common funding of undergraduate degrees is a Tuition Fee Loan from the UK Government. The key information about these loans is:

  • You must be a UK resident
  • You can get a loan to cover the full cost of your tuition fees
  • You only start to pay it back when you are earning over £21,000 a year.
  • Your tuition fees are paid directly to the University by the loan company.

If you’re not 100% comfortable with university level study choosing 4 year degree would be a smart choice. The first year is designed to give you the basics needed to successfully complete the rest of the degree as it focuses on essential study skills. You will build your confidence and become a capable, well equipped student who is able to complete the full degree.

The four year degree is perfect for you if:

  • You don’t feel you did well in previous academic study
