On this Graphic Design Degree course you will explore a broad range of digital technologies used within the creative industries. You will have the opportunity to enhance your knowledge of traditional mediums, such as typography, print and layout design through the use of a suite of digital mediums.

You will be encouraged to produce a broad range of industry related projects, from traditional print and web design, to animation, video and illustration. All of the modules are delivered online by Arden University, using innovative Distance Learning techniques.

This Distance Learning BA (Hons) Degree in Graphic Design has standard entry requirements. To be eligible for this course at Arden University you must have either:

  • Two subjects at GCE A-Level or equivalent, plus passes at grade C or above in three subjects at GCSE level or equivalent; OR:
  • Completed a recognised Access Programme or equivalent.

For students whose prior learning was not taught in English, you must have IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (no less than 5.5 in any element).

If you have work experience

Arden are happy to consider an application for this Graphic Design Degree from you if you can show us you have the motivation to study the programme.

We’ll ask you for a personal statement that demonstrates your ability to study the course. We’ll also ask you for references and evidence of relevant work experience that could help your application.

You can support your study in a variety of ways.

If you are a UK student, the most common funding of undergraduate degrees is a Tuition Fee Loan from the UK Government. The key information about these loans is:

  • You must be a UK resident
  • You can get a loan to cover the full cost of your tuition fees
  • You only start to pay it back when you are earning over £21,000 a year.
  • Your tuition fees are paid directly to the University by the loan company.

Self-funding - Pay in full or Pay as you go options

You can pay for your course all in one go if you have the funds. There is typically up to 10% off the total price if you pay this way. You can also pay as you go. This means you have no monthly obligations and simply pay for each module when you decide to study it.
