These days, computing underpins all businesses and both of these two disciplines are fundamentally connected.

On Arden University's BA (Hons) Business & Computing course you develop a broad understanding of business activity through our Distance Learning model and you will focus on the influence of business and computing concepts in achieving a business’s strategic objectives.

Distance Learning means you'll learn exclusively online and will be able to fit your studies around your normal daily activities. Your course materials and coursework will all be delivered online and you can study day or night - whenever you choose.

This BA (Hons) Business & Computing Degree course has standard entry requirements that you must meet to enrol with Arden University. To be eligible for this course you must have either: 

  • Two subjects at GCE A-Level or equivalent, plus passes at grade C or above in three subjects at GCSE level or equivalent; OR
  • Completed a recognised Access Programme or equivalent

For students whose prior learning was not taught in English, you must have IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (no less than 5.5 in any element).

If you have work experience 

We are happy to consider an application from you if you can show us you have the motivation to study the programme through Distance Learning at Arden. 

We’ll ask you for a personal statement that demonstrates your ability to study the course. We’ll also ask you for references and evidence of relevant work experience.

You can support your study in a variety of ways.

If you are a UK student, the most common funding of undergraduate degrees is a Tuition Fee Loan from the UK Government. The key information about these loans is:

  • You must be a UK resident
  • You can get a loan to cover the full cost of your tuition fees
  • You only start to pay it back when you are earning over £21,000 a year.
  • Your tuition fees are paid directly to the University by the loan company.

Self-funding - Pay in full or Pay as you go options

You can pay for your course all in one go if you have the funds. There is typically up to 10% off the total price if you pay this way. You can also pay as you go. This means you have no monthly obligations and simply pay for each module when you decide to study it.
