Studying at Arden University will allow you to gain an understanding of the key aspects of business and human resource management in the field of HRM, alongside current and emerging developments in related disciplines.

Your course in business management and human resources will teach you about staff planning, employee relationships, development, training and employment law, and how to apply all of this in national and international contexts.

You will have 3-9 years to complete this course, meaning that you can take up to 3 years to complete each level. However, we recommend completing the course in 3-6 years.

Arden's online human resource management course has standard entry requirements. To be eligible for this course you must have either:

  • Two subjects at GCE A-Level or equivalent, plus passes at grade C or above in three subjects at GCSE level or equivalent; OR
  • Completed a recognised Access Programme or equivalent

For students whose prior learning was not taught in English

  • IELTS 6.0 (no less than 5.5 in any element); or TOEFL iBT 80; or equivalent
  • Alternatively, a letter to show that the Medium of Instruction was in English is accepted
  • We also offer an internal English test for applicants who are unable to provide an English Proficiency letter. More information on this can be found here

You can support your study in a variety of ways.

If you are a UK student, the most common funding of undergraduate degrees is a Tuition Fee Loan from the UK Government. The key information about these loans is:

  • You must be a UK resident
  • You can get a loan to cover the full cost of your tuition fees

How does it work?

Once you enrol with Arden, you will receive access to both Salesforce and Cisco’s online, self-paced courses through your learning platform, iLearn. Here, you’ll be able to pick and choose which courses you’d like to study.

You’ll study the course content as and when it suits you. The hours required to complete a course vary. The length of time needed to complete a Salesforce course ranges from 35 minutes to 21 hours, while the majority of Cisco courses take between 30 and 70 hours.

These courses are an added extra, and it’s entirely up to you whether you complete one, 10 or none at all! Your participation (or decision not to study these additional extras) won’t have any effect on your degree or the grades you receive.

The Salesforce Trailhead and Cisco courses are completely free to study, but there is a fee of £150-£200 per badge for LinkedIn badge certifications from Cisco.
