Arden’s BA (Hons) Business & Computing Degree is available to study with an integrated Foundation Year. Beginning with a year of academic foundational study, this programme is perfect to prepare you for success at the Undergraduate level.
 
The foundation year will equip you with the essential skills needed to embark on your Undergraduate Degree in Business and Computing, including basic numeracy, academic and research skills, as well as IT and Business topics.

You’ll develop a broad understanding of business and computing activity through our Distance Learning model, focussing on the influence of key concepts to achieve an organisation’s strategic objective.

Study modern modules which cover topics like Computer Technology, Information Systems in Organisations and Understanding the Business Environment, giving you knowledge which applies to a career across a range of sectors and industries.

If you like to stay ahead of the curve and analyse the latest technologies in computing and leading business theories, then this online Business & Computing Degree course is the one for you.

Candidates for our online Business & Computing Degree with Foundation Year are required to submit a personal statement (of between 350-550 words) or attend an online interview demonstrating an ability to study the programme at Arden University, taking into account:

  • Your motivation for undertaking the programme
  • Relevant work experience
  • Prior qualifications
  • References

For students whose prior learning was not taught in English

  • IELTS 6.0 (no less than 5.5 in any element); or TOEFL iBT 80; or equivalent
  • Alternatively, a letter to show that the Medium of Instruction was in English is accepted

  • You must be a UK resident
  • You can get a loan to cover the full cost of your tuition fees
