# Exemptions

### Find out how we recognise your completed study, and provide exemptions towards a Masters or MBA with Arden – saving you time and money.

At Arden University, we have a number of **professionally accredited courses**. This means that we have mapped the learning outcomes of our modules against industry body qualifications.

So, if you hold awards from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI); Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM); or Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) there are **exemptions** offered if you join the Arden MBA or the two specialist Marketing Masters awards, as set out in the table below. We are happy to individually consider other professional or academic awards to see whether we can grant exemptions. Our **Arden Admissions Team** will be happy to advise you.

Where our modules map directly to courses studied by the **professional bodies** we have listed the specific modules you would be exempt from – where there is no defined curriculum we have stated the maximum credit volume we might exempt.
