Arden University offers a wide range of Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses which fit into one of our four Academic Schools. 


The School of Business and Management 

Whether you are a new entrant into the world of management, or you’re looking to develop into a leader of the future, Arden Business School will help you make an immediate and real impact within any commercial organisation. We deliver high-value programmes which provide graduates with the skills and behavioural competencies to meet employers' needs, right from the outset of your employment.

Arden programmes are designed with input from alumni, industry, external experts and professional bodies, which ensures relevance to the modern world. As the majority of our programmes are professionally accredited e.g. Chartered Management Institute, graduates have the added benefit of knowing that their qualification meets the specifications of the national professional body.

Currently the Business School offers programmes covering all of the management functions: General Management and Leadership, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Project Management and Healthcare Management.

The range of programmes available include Accounting and Finance, Business and Management, Human Resource Management, and Marketing at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.


The School of Law and Social Science

Our vision is to provide a nurturing learning community which cultivates and realises the potential of every student and member of staff, to have a positive impact in the world and to make a difference. Our programmes have a clear focus on equipping graduates with the curiosity to challenge perceptions and the practical, professional and problem-solving skills needed to be successful in their chosen career.

Our programmes are recognised as meeting the demanding standards set by the Bar Standards Board and the Solicitor's Regulatory Authority. The highly-qualified and motivated specialist teams comprise of both academics and practitioners who are actively engaged in their fields of expertise. The School offers the LLB (Hons) with Qualifying Status, a suite of Joint Honours Awards in the fields of Law, Criminology and Social Science and the Foundation Year Pathways.

The School provides engaging and innovative teaching and learning, both in the online and blended learning environment, which instil an ethos of responsible citizenship, social justice and a clear understanding of how learning can make a positive and tangible change for good.

 


The School of Computing and IT

In an ever-changing and evolving digital world, it’s vital that higher education programmes enable students to effectively implement technological solutions to real-world problems. Drawing on experience from across the world, in both academia and industry, our programmes deliver a breadth of applied teaching – touching on all aspects of today’s computing requirements.

Arden’s computing and IT degrees were designed with business applications and graduate employment at the core. Each of the courses focuses on applying theory into the real world, whether through complex data analysis, aesthetic website design or bespoke graphics portfolios, so every one of our students benefits from our materials and expert tutors.

The portfolio includes a range of Computing and Graphic Design undergraduate programmes. At the postgraduate level we teach strategic IT and applied Data Analytics.

As Arden grows, the range of specialist programmes will evolve to include Data Science, Networking Management and Human-Computer Integrated Systems.
 


The School of Psychology

The School of Psychology’s vision is to develop the next generation of evidence-based and ethical psychologists. Whether you want to specialise and become registered as a psychologist in a specified discipline area, or want to develop a knowledge of human behaviour, we provide accredited British Psychological Society courses that confers Graduate Basis for Chartership. 

Our team of lecturers comprises experienced academics and practitioners; they can provide you with a strong theoretical understanding of psychological concepts which can be applied to practice that allows for an ethical and evidence-based approach to decision-making and development of interventions.

 


The School of Psychology team is multi-disciplinary, bringing a wealth of academic and applied experience that enhances the student experience. The use of an evidence-based approach provides students with the opportunity to develop skills that can be applied in the work-place.

With a rich portfolio of Psychology and Sociology courses, you can study Psychology as a dual-subject with Human Resource Management, Criminology, Sociology and Law, or as a single, focused subject in undergraduate or postgraduate studies.
