You can now gain a professionally relevant Business degree with the added bonus of chartered manager status and a professional qualification from the Chartered Management Institute. Or if you are an employer with staff that you want to retain and develop, a degree apprenticeship, partially funded by the UK government, could be the answer.
Study is part-time over four and a half years through a blended learning delivery model which allows the degree apprentice to combine work and study, participating in regular tutor led face to face and online sessions.
Degree apprenticeship students study one module per quarter and attend for a compressed face to face two day study block at the start of each module, with online study and support from tutors throughout remainder of module delivery period. The blocked study days take place in Birmingham.
Year 1: Developing Personal & Management Skills; Understanding the Business Environment; Principles of Marketing and Introduction to Finance.
Year 2: Management Information Systems; People in Organisations; Managing Across Cultures and Business Processes
Year 3: Business Analysis; Enterprise & Entrepreneurship; Management Accounting and Managing Change in Organisations
Year 4: Strategic Management; marketing planning; Managing Self & Others and Project Management.
During your fourth year you will also start work on a work-based project, which you will submit as your final assessment midway through Year 5.
All above modules are subject to validation.
