New Funding Options for International Students
Funding your education is an important step in your academic journey, and we want to help make the process as accessible and straightforward as possible.
That’s why Arden University is pleased to introduce a new funding option for international students studying in Berlin through our partnership with The Student Funding Company (TSFC).
TSFC provides educational loans designed specifically for international students who may not be eligible for traditional bank financing, helping more students access higher education opportunities with confidence.
About The Student Funding Company (TSFC)
The Student Funding Company (TSFC) specialises in student finance and takes a more flexible, individual approach to assessing applications. Rather than relying solely on traditional credit criteria, TSFC considers each student’s broader circumstances and future potential.
This approach enables more international students to access funding support, with repayment plans structured across your period of study and beyond.
Arden University has a commercial partnership with TSFC and may receive a fee where students enter into a loan agreement with them. This does not affect the terms or conditions offered to you.
How to Apply
Applying for funding through TSFC is fully online and can be completed from anywhere in the world.
Step 1: Apply Online
Begin your application through the TSFC website at studentfundingcompany.com.
Step 2: Receive Personalised Support
Once you register your interest, a member of the TSFC team will contact you directly to guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have.
Step 3: Submit Your Documents
TSFC will advise you on the documentation and information required to complete your application.
Please note that eligibility is subject to both Arden University admissions requirements and TSFC’s lending assessment.
Before You Apply — Important Information
A loan from TSFC is a credit agreement regulated under the Consumer Credit Act 1974. Before applying, please ensure you understand the following:
● Loans are subject to interest. Full terms, including the Representative APR, will be provided by TSFC before you enter into any agreement.
● Repayments must be made directly to TSFC according to the agreed repayment schedule.
● Missing repayments may affect your account status and, in some circumstances, access to academic services.
● You have the right to withdraw from the credit agreement within 14 days of signing.
● This is a loan and must be repaid. We encourage you to borrow responsibly and only what you feel confident you can repay.
Regulatory Information
TSFC is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for consumer credit activities (FCA reference number 790289).
If you have questions about studying at Arden University or your application, our admissions team will be happy to help. For questions relating to funding or loan eligibility, please contact TSFC directly through their application process and support team.
