The MSc Strategic Digital Marketing course delivered at our Berlin campus has been designed to teach you the core principles and skills at use in contemporary marketing. This new course has evolved from and replaced our previous MSc Data Analytics and Marketing degree. The relaunched course now teaches you the the latest industry insights in data-driven marketing and market research, bringing you up to date with the current industry practises.
This course is ideal for both career changers and professional marketers looking to transition into more senior roles. Our newly revised module content will provide you with in-demand knowledge of user experience (UX), Martech, using extensive market research to interpret Big Data sets, and how to identify customer needs based on advanced data engineering. On top of this you’ll learn new skills in critical thinking, brand building, leadership, and digital creativity. This means the course will provide you with the practical skills you need to respond to future changes in marketing technology and consumer experience, and to adapt your marketing knowledge to any environment.
The course also integrates a range of cutting-edge digital tools and software, meaning you’ll develop the ability to critically evaluate the application of marketing strategies and tactics in context, and graduate with an in-depth understanding of how to shape high-level marketing activities and manage creative global marketing plans successfully.
Your assessment takes place entirely through coursework, and has been designed to mirror professional marketing practice to enhance your employability. For example, the creation of campaign plans, design of digital artefacts, digital projects and customer journeys all form part of the course assessment. This will give you the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills gained in each module in the context of ‘real world’ strategic digital marketing scenarios.
