What does a Business Psychologist Do?

Computing and Date Science: Transform your Career

Taster Lecture: Crisis Management in the Workplace

Our second taster session from the Department of Health and Care Management PG will give you an insight into the topics that you could be studying and researching!

This session will focus on fostering an open environment so that risks can be managed and reported without fear of reprisal in the workplace. Themes discussed will include difficult environments, difficult working relationships and management for colleagues. Whether you are interested in management or would like some insight into today’s industries, this event is one not to be missed! 


Careers Advice: Speak to a Careers Consultant

This drop-in session is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you have about your career journey, about applying for jobs and about how studying a degree can further your job prospects. It is hosted by one of Arden’s fantastic Careers Consultants, who has a long-standing history of offering expert advice related to jobs and careers.

Health and Care Management: Industry Based Engagement Programme Conference

The Industry Based Engagement Programme (IBEP) Virtual Conference is in collaboration with the Institute of Health and Care Management (IHSCM) and open to all current students, prospective students and the public. It will give you a fantastic opportunity to understand how to access industry based opportunities and review your career options and interests.  

Leaders in health and social care will share their career journeys and give unique insight into their success. Our speakers include a registered manager for Premier Community, an NHS Deputy Chief Medical Officer and Consultant Obstetrician and a Service Coordinator for PossAbilities CIC. Arden University Virtual Open Day

Have you ever attended a virtual open day before? Arden runs virtual open days throughout the year to allow you to ask questions about the application process, the global value of our degrees and what support is available for you once you become a student. It is a great way to find out more about the university, no matter where you live or what you do! If you can’t attend live, you can still register and receive the recording! This open day will consist of three short talks, followed by an opportunity for questions and answers:

  • Introduction to Arden, how to apply and what to expect after application?  
  • Information for prospective students: fees, funding, entry requirements
  • What general support is there for students? What opportunities are there after university? What if English is not your first language or you are returning to education after a break?
  • Q&A session
