Situated in a prime location on Summer Row, adjacent to the city's Paradise development, Crossways offers students an exceptional study experience with state-of-the-art facilities and versatile teaching and working spaces.

Crossways is now one of Arden University's most expansive study spaces. With a blend of innovative facilities, it provides an ideal setting for students to take advantage of both in-person and online flexible learning here at Arden.
What to expect
City centre location: Crossways' central location means you're just moments away from Birmingham's vibrant cultural life and entertainment. One of Europe’s largest business redevelepment projects, the Paradise development, lies a short two-minute walk from the campus, as does the Jewellery Quarter, where you’ll find a wide selection of restaurants, bars, as well as independent shops and art galleries.
Student breakout area, quiet working spaces, and on-site cafe: Whether you prefer collaborative study sessions or a tranquil space for focused work, Crossways has designated areas for both. We also have an on-site cafe for quick snacks and refreshments.
Student support area: Our dedicated support area is here to assist you with any academic or administrative needs you may have.

Birmingham has undergone a remarkable transformation in recent years. After a comprehensive renovation, Birmingham New Street station has evolved into a modern leisure hub, offering an array of shops, cafes, restaurants, and more. And right nearby, you'll find the Bullring, a bustling shopping and dining district that ranks among the world's best. It's home to renowned department stores, high-street fashion outlets, household names, and an array of options for eating out.
Crossways' location is just a short walk from Birmingham New Street railway station, granting you easy access to local and surrounding areas, including:
- Wolverhampton: Only 20 minutes away.
- Coventry: Just 23 minutes by train.
- Leicester: A quick 55-minute journey.
- London: Reach the UK capital in just 1.5 hours.
- Bristol: Just 1.5-hours by train.
