English Language Hub begins delivery of support

Arden University’s newly created English Language Hub has begun delivering a bespoke English mini module at the Berlin study centre, with a focus on better supporting Arden University Berlin’s international students with the linguistic demands of their studies.

The new mini module, Fundamentals of Academic English, aims to help students improve their fluency, accuracy, and confidence when speaking in English, build important academic writing skills for stylistically improving their essays/reports, and learn vital communication skills that will also be invaluable in the workplace. Additionally, the students are being taught useful cultural knowledge relating specifically to living and learning in Berlin, hopefully helping them settle in the city faster.

Thanks to the tremendous hard work, determination, and collaboration of colleagues across Arden, FOAE is currently being piloted with the February intake in the Berlin study centre across three cohorts: BA Marketing, BA Business, and Foundation.

This pilot course marks a vital step towards achieving Arden’s ultimate aim of supporting all its students, across all its study centres.
