In keeping with Arden University’s commitment to reducing barriers to students through providing the best possible support, we are pleased to introduce our new Inclusion Portal, which is now live on iLearn.
The new portal has been designed to highlight and detail all the support that's available to you from Arden's Inclusion team, showcasing a range of services and support in relation to: Learning differences such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD and autism, disclosing a disability and reasonable adjustments, mental health and wellbeing, and financial hardship.
There are also links, on the resources page, to a variety of tools and free software to help students with challenges in time management, procrastination, reading, notetaking, research, revision, and wellbeing.
Carol Rifkin, Inclusion Advisor, said: “The portal was developed to enable us to communicate with students about inclusion at Arden – with a key focus on disability, financial hardship and mental health & wellbeing. It is important to us that we highlight the services that are currently available to students and develop a resource base for those who have experienced barriers to their learning, as well using the portal as a place to celebrate the successes of Arden students. As ever, we welcome feedback so that we can continue to develop the portal into an invaluable resource for all our students.”
