Do you have a passion for travel and tourism and an interest in the world of business? You can combine the two with a business and tourism degree with foundation year. You’ll learn about tourism from both a local and global perspective. This degree really does have the potential to take you anywhere!
Completing a foundation level before undergraduate level study gives you the opportunity to develop the core academic skills you need to successfully complete a professionally accredited undergraduate degree. You’ll increase your confidence in research, literacy, and explore business and management at a foundation level. With a foundation, you’ll then be able to springboard straight into an undergraduate degree.
You’ll begin with fundamental academic skills and gradually build on your knowledge to gain core business management and tourism knowledge and experience. As you progress you will cover more advanced topics such as sustainable tourism, strategic management international destination management, and business analysis.
As you get close to graduating with an undergraduate degree, you’ll gain a clearer understanding of where in business, and where in the world, you want your career to take you.
You have 4- years to complete this course, meaning that you have 1 year to complete each level.
