Congratulations on your upcoming graduation, we hope you enjoy your day very much. If you need any support, require reasonable adjustments or have questions about the accessibility of the graduation venue then please email the graduation team at graduation@arden.ac.uk
As part of the process, when you register for graduation you’ll be asked if you require any reasonable adjustments or additional support on the day. This may be for yourself, or for one of your guests.
Examples of graduand reasonable adjustments (for yourself): support accessing the stage, ramp access to the stage, an aisle seat, shorter walk to the stage, sighted-guide support, directions to the nearest bathroom or quiet space. This is not an exhaustive list so do please email graduation@arden.ac.uk if you need further advice.

Graduation Support Fund
The Arden University Graduation Support Fund is available to help eligible students with the costs of attending their graduation ceremony. The fund aims to promote inclusivity by supporting students who may experience financial hardship.
What does the fund cover?
- Eligible students can apply for reimbursement of the following costs:
- Gown hire
- Graduation photography package (if purchased)
- Travel expenses to attend the graduation ceremony (up to a maximum of £150 per student)
All reimbursements will be made via BACS.
Please note that travel costs will only be reimbursed up to a maximum of £150, even if your total travel expenses exceed this amount.
Who is eligible?
To apply, you must:
Be an Arden University student.
Have successfully completed an undergraduate course.
Have completed your induction milestones and be fully engaged with your programme.
Have a household income of less than £30,000 per year.
Attend your graduation ceremony.
How to apply
Applications must be submitted by the deadline on the application website - Graduation Support Fund | Blackbullion. Unfortunately, applications received after this date cannot be considered.
As part of your application, you will only be asked to submit evidence of your travel expenses after you have attended your graduation ceremony. Please do not send travel receipts before your ceremony, as they cannot be processed.
