We advise you to begin looking for accommodation near to your chosen campus as soon as possible. We understand that finding the right place to live is key to a positive student experience. Although Arden does not offer on-campus accommodation, we are here to support you as your find your home away from home. Our Accommodation Officers will assist you in finding suitable accommodation and provide ongoing support throughout your stay.

Private rentals
Many private landlords and accommodation providers will require a UK guarantor and/or several months’ rent in advance to secure accommodation. To ensure your security, you should get a good understanding of how fees and deposits work before you start the process of signing a tenancy agreement for a property.
You will also find third-party student accommodation available in the area. Although this is outside of Arden University, this type of accommodation (often a flat or apartment) comes in various styles and for a range of budgets.
Homeowners and tenants in the UK are required to pay council tax, however all registered students that are actively studying are exempt. You may need to provide proof of your student status to receive the exemption, which you can ask Student Support to provide.
