EducationInvestor Awards winners on stage

Celebrating our hard work and commitment towards providing quality education for all of our students, Arden University secured a prestigious win at the EducationInvestor Awards 2023 by taking home the Higher Education Institution of the Year Award.

The hotly-contested category (one of seven Arden were shortlisted as a finalist for) celebrates the institution of Higher Education, from the UK and beyond, which has made the largest impact in the sector across the past twelve months.

A number of senior members of staff from Arden attended the ceremony celebrating education institutions, investors, and providers of education technology from across the globe, including Victoria O’Donnell, Pro Vice Chancellor Academic & Deputy Provost.

'We are absolutely over the moon to win EducationInvestor’s Higher Education Institution of the year. Coming out on top in such a competitive category only goes to show our continued developments as a university, our quality as a provider of education, our commitment to our students, and the hard work and dedication of everyone across Arden.'

Reflecting on the win, Carl Lygo, Arden University’s Vice Chancellor & Chief Executive Officer said:

'We’re delighted to have won this award. This, as well as our other nominations across the night, is a great metric by which to recognise the efforts of our teams. Being named Higher Education institution of the year celebrates the way in which we are enabling students at Arden to achieve whatever they feel they were born to do.'

The awards were judged by a panel of 19 experts from the industry, who said:

'Arden University demonstrates excellence, in particular in serving disadvantaged students and mature students. The launch of new schools to address under-served markets is also very impressive. All of this is done at scale, which makes these efforts harder rather than easier. Well done.'
