Cavell Ord-Shrimpton, Arden University’s Programme Team Leader and Acting Head of School for MA & BA Graphic Design Courses has recently been nominated for a number of awards including the Women in Tech Excellence awards and the Women in Management’s West Midlands Women’s Awards.
The Women in Tech Excellence awards recognise top-performing women from across the technology space who are providing inspiration for younger women looking to build a career in the industry. Now in their sixth year, the awards have celebrated the achievements of over 1,200 women, in front of over 2,000 people.
Cavell has secured nominations in three separate categories: Transformation Leader, Digital Leader, and Hero of the Year, for her work producing one of the UK's first online BA (Hons) Graphic Design and MA Visual Communication Design Management + CMI degrees.
Women in Management’s West Midlands Women’s Awards celebrates the regional contribution of women across Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, and West Midlands, raising awareness, recognise and celebrate the hard work and valuable contribution of women from all cultures, communities, and sectors.
Cavell has been nominated in the Outstanding Woman in Education category, reflecting her dynamism and commitment to helping students throughout their time studying with Arden.
