Arden Student, Sharnay Van-Hoorn, has been awarded a place on Bentley Motor’s prestigious ‘Extraordinary Women’ mentorship programme.
As part of the programme, Sharnay, a STEM student who is studying for a BSc in Computing at Arden, will be connected with an expert working at Bentley in order to help share their insight and experience to inspire her career journey and demonstrate the range of careers available in the automotive industry.
Sharnay will be mentored by Rob Savin, who is Chief Digital Officer at Bentley. She was awarded her place after being nominated earlier in the year by Professor Georgina Harris, who attended an event at Bentley, along with Sharnay, to celebrate International Women’s Day.
We wish Sharnay all the best with this opportunity and look forward to catching up with her to see what she’s learnt.
