We’re proud to share that Arden University has ranked 5th in the UK for overall student positivity in the 2025 National Student Survey (NSS), climbing 11 places since last year!
The analysis, which was carried out by Times Higher Education, gave us an 87.3% student positivity score, reflecting our commitment to providing all our students with the best learning experience possible.
The NSS, run each year across the UK higher education sector, gives final-year undergraduate students the chance to share honest feedback about their university experience. The results are widely recognised as one of the most trusted measures of student satisfaction.
Climbing into the national top five is an endorsement of the work we’re doing across the university - particularly in areas such as personal academic support, career-focused teaching, and building a learning community that’s accessible to students no matter where, when, or how they study.
What makes Arden stand out? It’s all about putting our students first:
- Dedicated support: Tutors and advisors are always there to guide you, one-to-one.
- Career-ready learning: Practical, real-world skills that prepare you for the jobs you want.
- Flexible study: Learn anywhere, anytime, fitting your education around your life.
- Global community: Connect with students from around the world and expand your network.
- Innovative resources: Interactive online tools, workshops, and mentoring programmes designed to make learning engaging and effective.
- Focus on wellbeing: Support services to help students thrive academically, personally, and professionally.
As student Carol Ann, who recently completed her BA (Hons) in Business Management with us, told us:
"Arden made it possible for me to balance work, family, and study. The support from tutors and the online learning community was incredible. I always felt guided and encouraged."
This recognition isn’t just a ranking to us. It’s a celebration of every Arden student who shares feedback and helps us improve. Your experience drives everything we do, and we’re committed to making learning at Arden even better, every single year.
