Carl Lygo shortlisted for international education award

Arden’s Vice Chancellor and CEO, Carl Lygo, has been shortlisted for the PIEoneer Awards. The PIEoneer Awards celebrate innovation and achievement across the whole of the global education industry.

With a distinguished judging panel representing wide geographical and professional diversity, The PIEoneer Awards recognise both individuals and organisations who are pushing professional standards, evolving their engagement or redefining the international student experience. 2021 is the fifth year the awards have run.

Carl has been shortlisted for the ‘Outstanding Contribution to the industry’ award.

Carl said: “I am surprised but honoured to have been shortlisted for the PIEoneer Awards 2021. Arden University gaining Indefinite Degree Awarding Powers this year and now a shortlisting for this award, it is shaping up to be a good 2021. Thank you to everyone at Arden for all your support.”

The 2021 winners will be announced on Friday 3 September.
