Following the success of last year’s event, The Faculty of Social Science Virtual Career and Employability Event will return from September 19th.
Taking place September 19th - 23rd 2022 and is open to all Faculty of Social Science students and the People and Society Institute of Foundation Studies students.
The week-long event, covering Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, Law, and Policing, includes a variety of informative and interactive workshops from The Careers team designed to showcase a the many different paths that students can take following their time at Arden, in addition to the practical advice given in sessions about CVs, cover letters, and job applications.
Additionally, a broad range of internal and external speakers will provide expert insight into areas such as the Greater Manchester Police, Cybersecurity, Barristers' Chambers, Science Communication, Forensic Psychology, Data Science, Clinical Psychology, NHS Trusts, further education with sessions about PhDs, and even more.
Students wishing to sign up for sessions can do so via the Careers Portal on iLearn. Please note, due to the bank holiday there may be some disruption to Monday's scheduled sessions. However, students wishing to receive recordings of these should still sign up.
