Arden University has proudly opened the doors to a state-of-the-art new Birmingham study centre, providing another flexible learning space for students in the heart of the city.
Our new centre, located at Lock 14 and in close proximity to the city’s new multimillion pound Paradise Development, is our second in the city (after Centre City on Hill Street), and one of our biggest study centres to date. Spread over almost 20,000 square feet, the centre will provide teaching facilities and a flexible study spaces for students.
At Thursday’s grand unveiling, the doors to the centre were kicked open by Bradly Sinden, Team GB Taekwondo’s Olympic silver medallist, who has been studying accounting and finance with Arden. Bradly was joined at the opening by Arden’s Chief Innovation and Commercial Officer, Vitaly Klopot.
Vitaly said: “We’re incredibly excited to be expanding our footprint in Birmingham with the launch of our new flagship study centre on Summer Row.
“The city and the wider West Midlands region is home to an increasing range of successful businesses and organisations – from innovative technology start ups to large-scale financial organisations. Our new study centre will allow us to help even more talented people in Birmingham acquire the skills they need to grab these opportunities with both hands, and take those first strides towards success in whichever field they feel they were born to work in.”
This opening firmly demonstrates our belief in Birmingham’s status as a hub for education, and our centre offers another valuable option for learners in the Midlands who may be seeking flexible learning alongside highly vocational degree programmes.
It is also a marker of our continued growth as an institution, following the opening of additional space in Manchester last year and demonstrates how a flexible approach to learning is being welcomed by UK students.
