Here at Arden University we’re gearing up for our Summer Graduation Ceremony 2024, set to take place on Tuesday, June 25. As the excitement builds for this significant day, here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your graduation experience.
1. Ceremony details
Our Summer Graduation 2024 ceremonies will be held at Central Hall Westminster, Storey's Gate, London, SW1H 9NH, with sessions at 10:30 AM and 3:30 PM. By now, you should have received notification of your assigned session via email.
We recommend arriving at least 1.5 hours before your ceremony starts. This gives you enough time for registration, ticket collection, gown fitting, photography, and seating. Please be punctual, as late arrivals may miss their graduation slot.
2. What to expect when you arrive
Upon arrival, head to the registration area located at Westminster Foyer/Lower Ground Floor. A cloakroom on Level 1 is available for storing your personal belongings. Elevators and restrooms are accessible on every floor. Please let us know if you require special assistance.
Ticket and academic dress collection
All graduates and guests need to register upon arrival. Additional guest tickets can be purchased with a card payment, subject to availability. Once you have your ticket, collect your pre-ordered academic gown from Graduation Attire at Aldersgate/Lower Ground Floor.
Pre-paid official photography
If you have pre-ordered official photography, it will take place in Aldersgate/Lower Ground Floor after you have collected your academic dress. Remember to pre-book your photography package before the ceremony, as bookings can be made up to 10 days in advance.
Taking your seat
Please be seated by 10:15 AM for the morning session and 3:15 PM for the afternoon session. Ushers will guide you to your designated seat.
3. During the ceremony
Enjoy speeches by Arden University dignitaries including Professor Ann Tate C.B.E, Chair of the Board of Directors, Dace Rozina, Student President, Amrita Narang, Head of Academic Professional Development, and Arden University Provost, Professor Dilshad Sheikh.
Ushers will guide you to and from the stage when it's your moment to graduate.
No food or drink is permitted in the Great Hall, and seat changes are discouraged to ensure your name is represented correctly.
4. After the ceremony
Celebrate your success at the alumni reception in the Library-Lecture Hall/Level 1. Hold onto your ticket for a complimentary drink while celebrating with fellow graduates, guests, and Arden academics.
Browse the merchandise stand for Arden-branded goods and visit the careers stand to discuss postgraduate study options with our team.
Robe return
Drop off your academic robes at the library-Lecture Hall by 1:00 PM for the morning session or by 6:00 PM for the afternoon session.
5. Livestream
If you have friends and family who are unable to attend, both ceremonies will be live-streamed at the following links:
