An Introduction to Ioannis Spyropoulos:
My research interests are in decision making, research methods and statistics, geographic profiling, geo-spatial analysis of crime, false confessions and investigative interviewing. My PhD focus is on decision making in the Criminal Justice System. More specifically current work explores criminal thinking styles and how they may influence offender decision making through their journey in the criminal justice system. Current research projects explore offender decision making at the police station, the courts and in prisons.
