Psychology careers week – Occupational Psychologist – 5 August 2020

Psychology Careers Week is your chance to hear from those who work in different fields within Psychology. In this session, you will hear from Occupational Psychologist Hayley Lewis from HALO Psychology, who is also a consultant and a coach.

Taking place Wednesday 5th August, 13.30 - 14:00 BST

The session will cover:

  • Information on what it's like working within the field of Occupational Psychology
  • Tips on how to become an Occupational Psychologist
  • The impact that COVID-19 has had on the world from the perspective of Occupational Psychology

There will be an opportunity to ask Hayley questions during the session.

Hayley is an award-winning Psychologist with more than two decades’ experience in the field of organisational and business psychology. Prior to launching her own consultancy, Hayley spent 11 years leading various local government services, such as organisational development; ICT strategy; customer services; communications and digital transformation. During this time, she won national recognition for her work on leadership development and culture change. Before this, she spent eight years at the BBC where she was an organisational psychologist working on the major culture change programme led by Greg Dyke.

Hayley is a respected lecturer on MSc Organisational and Business Psychology programmes at several UK universities, with her specialist topics of leading change, leadership in the 21st century, organisational culture and building high-performance teams. 

A Chartered Psychologist, Registered Occupational Psychologist, Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and Fellow of the RSA, Hayley is passionate about sharing knowledge with managers, leaders and postgrad students and does this via her popular daily tips and insights on LinkedIn
