You've got to know why you want to do it, why you want to study, and understand what you're hoping to gain from your degree. If you know all that, you should go for it. The hardest step is always going to be taking the first step. Once you take that step, though, just continue. There will be lot of challenges and a lot of hurdles you might have to jump over, but just keep continuing and it will always get easier.
I was really nervous at first. Most times you try to make decisions for yourself, but you also have to face the question about whether you can actually succeed. This was my first time moving away from my home country, and I was also considering how competitve it would be in order to succeed in an environment like this. But I was also optimistic. I wanted to succeed and needed that challenge. Now, I'm really happy I made the deision because I can see the positivity and the results.
One thing that really helped was the fact that, since I'm always working, you can actually pace youself according to the assignments that you need to do. Then there's also the advantage with wokring that I can immediately apply my theory to my work, which has been be beneficial. For me, I started off as a sales rep and now, as soon as I graduated, I've become a client liaison officer.
I've really enjoyed studying, I've enjoyed the online aspect of it becaause I could just carry on with my life. And I enjoy the community, I love talking to my peers. It's just nice to be able to talk to people who are in the same class who have similar backgrounds to me, because we all do online studying for some reason, family work, any other circumstance.
Arden University Berlin provided me with exactly what I was looking for - they offer data analytics modules alongside valuable systems knowledge. It was the complete package for me. Through the programme, I honed my presentation and deadline management skills, but I would say my communication and collaboration skills improved the most, and my research skills are now very strong.
In my company now, when I present, my colleagues all say, "You are doing great work."
I highly recommend Arden in Berlin, especially if you want to explore opportunities beyond your studies and cultivate your passion, abilities, and expertise.
My experience was simply amazing. I wanted to do something that combined engineering and management, and my course fulfilled that goal perfectly. The staff, including our professors and especially the career support, were fantastic. They were always there whenever I needed help with questions or anything related to interviews.
