Samantha Foster

After working in finance and real estate for ten years with three years in a management role, Samantha became unemployed during the Covid-19 pandemic. As she now starts her own English tutoring business, Samantha is earning her business degree while living abroad.

What has been the best part about studying with Arden?

The flexibility to schedule my studies around work has been a major perk of studying with Arden. The course material is easy to follow, and each module provides additional resources and reading material which has been beneficial during my assignment research.

Why did you choose to study with Arden?

I chose Arden for the flexibility and the option to study through online learning. Being an expat, the Netherlands may not be my final living destination. If I move, I can continue my studies with Arden.

Why did you choose online learning?

I chose online learning as I was working full time, and studying online provided flexibility around my workday. Now that I am building my own business, I can manage my time between work and studies. 

What do you think of the course so far?

Excellent! I am really enjoying the course work and assignments. The assignments are challenging and encourage you to think further than the course work, to do your own research and be creative in your work.

What are you goals for after graduating from Arden?

Once I have completed my BA, I will be enrolling to study my Master’s in Psychology through Arden. 

Would you recommend studying online with Arden?  

Definitely. I would recommend Arden and studying online if you are a working individual and looking to study in your late 20’s like myself. The support I have received from tutors and the student body is excellent. Thank you for ensuring students have a voice through their student representatives!
