Recognising Arden University’s efforts over the past year, we are excited to announce that we have secured a fantastic five nominations in different categories at this year’s EducationInvestor Awards.
The awards are designed to celebrate excellence and innovation in the business of education in the UK, especially championing those who have demonstrated great agility and resilience in the face of yet another challenging year amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
We have received nominations for our work as a ‘Higher Education Provider’, a ‘Further Education/ Vocational Education Provider’ for our work with apprentice degree students, and as a ‘Pathway Provider’ due to our commitment to providing higher education access for everyone everywhere though our foundation courses.
Additionally, we have also received two further Grand Prix nominations, again as an ‘Education Provider’ (an award we won in 2020), and the hard work of Dilshad Sheikh, Arden University’s Dean of the Faculty of Business, has also seen her secure a nomination as a Woman to Watch (Business Women in Education).
Carl Lygo, Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer said: “Arden University has been on an incredible journey over the last 12 months, growing at an unprecedented rate and developing high-performing teams of industry-leading academics who are delivering an outstanding experience for our students.
“We are delighted that on the back of this we have been shortlisted in no less than five categories at the EducationInvestor Awards, including an individual award for Dilshad Sheikh who has made an incredible impact since joining the university late last year. We look forward to the final in November and collectively keep our fingers crossed that we go one step further and secure a win in each of our categories.”
Judged by a panel of high-profile independent judges, the winners will be announced on the 30th November.
