Arden’s Faculty of Business is pleased to announce its has secured two new partnerships in the form of Bloomberg Financial Markets Platform and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
These new partnerships are testament to the continued work Arden’s Business courses are doing in providing students the very best opportunity to become leaders in the field.

Bloomberg Financial Markets Platform
The Bloomberg Terminal has been used for over three decades by bankers, investors, traders, and brokers. It remains at the cutting-edge of innovation, delivering fast access to indispensable news, data, and trading tools. The Bloomberg Financial Markets Platform offers direct use of financial data, information and analytics thereby giving students experience of what it’s like to work on a real trading floor in the financial district.
The Bloomberg Terminal will offer students the opportunity to:
• Monitor and compare real-time price and volume data for the world’s equity shares
• Monitor and access derivative instruments, including hedging strategies
• Capture real-time news updates from financial markets across the globe
• Have access to real-time data for Forex, including Spot, Future and Forward rates
• Gain an interactive introduction to the financial market.
• Complete various short courses in stock market trading that are recognised by industry

The platform will also allow students to develop key practical skills expected by employers in the world of leading financial technology and tools, giving them a competitive advantage and future proofing their careers.
CIMA
The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) is a global professional management accountant body with over 227,000 members in 179 countries worldwide. CIMA qualifications are respected throughout the financial industry. Several employers in the finance and accounting sector consider CIMA membership as a prerequisite to securing a position within their organisation. Companies ranging from Barclays, Nestle, Deloitte, Unilever and more train their staff with CIMA, and their certifications continue to set standards for Management Accountants worldwide. Our partnership with CIMA will give our MSc Accounting and Finance students access to The Master’s gateway route. The Master’s gateway route is an accelerated entry route to the CIMA Professional Qualification and the globally recognised CGMA designation for eligible individuals.
