New Careers platform launching

Launching in Early November, Arden University’s Careers team are set to unveil a new platform to help support talent and shape students’ futures.

This new resource, named Arden Futures, has been designed to help encourage students to explore a variety of career areas through the Career Discovery and Pathways content, as well as providing access to a number of exciting employer events.

Alongside this, the platform will also be available to help students develop their career management skills, and notably includes the opportunity to offer students automated advice on CVs and cover letters, as well as offering insight into the interviews and online tests that many employers ask graduates and professionals during recruitment processes. These services are available 24/7 to students.

Arden Futures also offers students the option to communicate directly with The Careers team. Students can send questions and book one-to-one appointments should they need individual advice on any aspect of their career planning from start to finish.

“Whether you are a Career Starter, Changer or Developer, Arden Futures provides a suite of tools to enable you to discover new career areas, focus your career exploration through engaging with employers and gaining work experience, and help achieve your personal career goals,” said Caroline Tolond, Head of Careers and Employability at Arden University.

In terms of accessibility, Arden Futures will be a Single Sign-On platform, meaning once a student has logged into the Arden system they should go straight into the platform. The site is laptop, tablet and mobile friendly allowing access on the go and relevant content to each student will also be shared with them though the platform and via email so they don’t miss out on great opportunities.
