Arden University offers students the option to study seven of its online, distance learning postgraduate programmes full-time in just one year in an exciting first for the university.
Arden University launches a full-time study mode option for seven of its most popular postgraduate programmes.
Arden University announced today (July 1, 2020) that it will offer students the opportunity to study seven of its online, distance learning postgraduate programmes full-time in an exciting first for the university and its students.
Though challenging for students who choose the full-time study mode of at least 28 hours a week, this exciting new option allows students to complete their postgraduate studies in just one year, qualify with their Master’s, MBA or MSc and get on with their careers.
Suzanne Mitchell, Arden University’s Director of Student Experience, said: “The main difference from studying these programmes full-time is the pace and commitment it will require from our students but we’re excited to offer this new study mode for those that are willing and able to succeed.
“We’re confident it will be popular for some of our students who want to complete their postgraduate studies faster and who are able to complete their Master’s alongside their other commitments.”
The seven courses below come with the option of studying either on a part-time or full-time schedule.
Arden's full-time study option offers a more structured study timetable than the part-time option, and is ideal if students want more personal contact with their course tutor. Studying full time, students will have a 2hr teaching session with their classmates and their lecturers each week and an additional 30 minute, personal tutorial every fortnight.
As students will be studying 180 credits over the course of one academic year, this option means students will study at the same pace as a traditional full-time campus programme, but with the benefit of taught sessions online with Arden lecturers, wherever students are located in the world.
The courses are also offered on a part-time study mode for students who are working, have other commitments or would prefer to study over a longer period.
Studying part-time gives students the flexibility to study at their own pace and manage their course schedule to fit around their personal and professional commitments. Students will be able to work through the course without the commitment of face-to-face lectures and classroom time, making it easier to achieve the qualification they need at a pace that works for them.
The part-time option allows students to study 80 credits in their first year, followed by 40 credits per subsequent academic year, giving the option to potentially spread studies over a period of up to five years.
Arden’s experienced recruitment teams will discuss each student’s individual needs in terms of qualifications, previous experience, time availability, commitment and motivations for study and provide a proposed study plan for them. This guided approach is to ensure Arden students are aligned to the best study mode for their circumstances and end achievement goal .
The new full-time study mode is being offered for seven postgraduate courses starting in October 2020.
Arden offers a wide range of postgraduate programmes that can be studied completely online.
The Postgraduate programmes offered with the new full-time study mode option are:
- MA Human Resource Management
- MA Strategic Marketing
- MBA
- MBA (Data Analytics)
- MBA (Finance)
- MSc Project Management
- MSc Engineering Management
