Faculty staff

Dr Dauda Hamzat

Dr Dauda Hamzat is interim Head of the School of Supply Chain, Logistics and Project Management. Dauda joined Arden University having taught at several UK universities. Prior to his academic career, Dr Hamzat had 20-year post-university intercontinental working experience in the fields of supply chain including procurement, international freight & logistics, aviation management, and project management in many blue-chip firms. His industry network and extensive industry experience mean he has gained real-world perspectives that now inform the application of learning here at Arden. 

As a UK academic, Dr Hamzat was a pioneer Course Leader for Aviation and Logistics Management at the Buckinghamshire New University, following earlier lecturing role at Leeds Beckett University. He is also an external examiner/supervisor for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in his field of expertise at a number of UK universities.
