In recognition of the hard work and excellence involved in delivering Arden University’s MSc in Supply Chain Management and Logistics, the course has received formal accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT).
Established in 1919, CILT is the chartered body for professionals involved in the movement of goods and people and their associated supply chains. Bringing together the five distinct communities of Logistics & Freight Movement, People Mobility, Planning in Transport, Operations and Supply Chain Management and Sustainability & the Global Community, they provide specialist activities and multi-sector engagement through their associated forums and policy groups.
Having received this accreditation from CILT, the programme is now able to also offer full exemption from the educational requirements for Chartered Membership, helping speed along students’ Chartered Member status and aiding their career progression possibilities.
Dr Serkan Ceylan, Arden University’s Head of the School of Project Management, said “We are very pleased to announce that our MSc Supply Chain Management and Logistics received fantastic feedback from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and our programme has been accredited as suitable for exemption from the academic requirements for Chartered Membership (CMILT) of the CILT (UK).
“This is a significant step in providing Arden students with the support of a career partner for their professional lives. Our students will benefit through networking opportunities, offering events, connections and industry insights. They will have access to exclusive industry intelligence and professional development through workshops, as well as career support through personal advice, support and information.”
