Celebrating our hard work and commitment towards widening access to education, Arden University secured a prestigious win at the EducationInvestor Awards 2022 in the Further Education/Vocational Education Provider category.
That category (one of six Arden secured shortlist nominations in) is focussed on illuminating the institutions providing worthwhile pathways into higher education for those who may have otherwise been left behind, and we secured the win thanks in large part to the work we have been doing with our degree apprenticeship offerings and our foundation years.
A number of senior members of staff from Arden attended the ceremony celebrating Education institutions from across the globe, including Professor Carl Lygo, Arden University’s Vice Chancellor & Chief Executive Officer.
“It is vitally important to everyone at Arden that we set our students up for success throughout their future lives and careers. Our commitment to vocational degree programmes, foundation degrees and degree apprenticeships is a demonstration of our commitment to widening access and providing our students with the skills they need to excel in the workplace,” said Lygo.
“We’re delighted to accept this award which recognises these efforts of our teams and celebrates the way in which we are enabling students at Arden to achieve whatever they feel they were born to do.”
Judges' comments on Arden's win drew attention to the positive changes we've made over the past twelve months, saying: "Arden University uses modern tech to make education accessible for all. It has clearly had a transformative year with substantial impact and growth."
