Continuing to develop its programmes through working collaboratively with leading institutions, Arden University has been successful in its application for Endorsement by Skills for Care, an independent charity with over 18 years’ experience in workforce development, working as a delivery partner for the Department of Health and Social Care. They also work closely with related services such as health and housing and are the membership organisation for registered managers.
This means Arden is now an approved education provider with them, and also that employers can utilise their government allocated workforce development funding on our programmes.
This is great news for the School of Health and Care Management, as well as the University as a whole, and we hope to work with Skills for Care and the social care sector to further enhance and develop our programmes to identify what employers and providers need in the management of health and care services.
Stephanie West, Head of School of Health, and Care Management said ‘I am delighted that we have been successful in this Endorsement. It is great news for the School and the University and we hope to work with Skills for Care and the social care sector further, to enhance and develop our programmes. Our main aim is to deliver what employers and providers really need in the management of health and care services and our new relationship and recognition with Skills for Care will support that immensely.’
