All about Arden week: ask a student webinar - 20 August 2020

There is no better way to find out about the student experience at Arden University than hearing from our very own students! In this session, you will have the opportunity to engage with some of our students to hear about how they are finding their time with us and where they are hoping their degree will lead them.

Taking Place: Thursday 20th August, 13:30-14:00 BST

Join us to hear from Blended Learning Business student Mehreen and Distance Learning Psychology & Sociology student Louise so you can hear the differences between our two learning modes. We will be asking them questions such as:

  • Why did you decide to study with Arden?
  • How are you finding your degree?
  • What are the academics tutors/lecturers like?
  • How do you manage your time as a student?

However, this sessions is mainly for you – this is your opportunity to put your questions to students who are currently studying with us so you can get a real-life insight into what it’s like to be a student at Arden University. So make sure you attend and get your question in!

An introduction to the students:

All About Arden Week: Ask a Student Louise

Hi my name is Louise; I am 33 years old and live in Devon in England. I started my degree at Arden University in January 2018. I chose to study a BA Honours degree in psychology and sociology as this is my passion. I have a husband and 2 children at home so studying online as a distance learner at home really fitted in my lifestyle around my family, I can study when I want in my own free time. I am currently half way through my final year of studying with Arden and I have really enjoyed my experience and look forward to my future career opportunities after gaining my degree.

All About Arden Week: Ask a Student Mehreen

Hi everyone! I am Mehreen. I live in Birmingham, UK and I am a second year student at Arden University studying BA Business. I started studying at Arden during the year 2019 in September. Studying at Arden has allowed me to reach my goals. Also, Arden is very convenient for me as I work as well. Aside from being a student, I volunteer at a youth centre, I enjoy talking to new people and I like being helpful and l love motivating people.
