Professor Stephanie West joined Arden University in November 2020 and is the Head of the School of School of Leadership & Service Industry Management. In addition to her wealth of healthcare industry experience, Stephanie has held a number of Senior Academic and Leadership positions in Health, Social Care and Applied Science faculties at a variety of universities across the UK.

Louise Reader

Louise joins us with experience in academic leadership and business education, specialising in applied learning, employer engagement, and strategic programme development. Louise has supported large-scale curriculum innovation and the development of impactful partnerships focusing most recently on apprenticeships and executive education in her previous institution.

With a PhD examining business and community relationships and a strong commercial background within the IT Industry, Louise has engaged with policy development (through the BSI), consultancy, and research initiatives.

Sarah Jones

Sarah joined Arden University following a 21-year career as a uniformed police officer. She holds an MA in Policing and Criminal Justice, alongside several teaching qualifications. Sarah began her policing journey in 1999 with Hertfordshire Constabulary, before transferring to the Metropolitan Police Service, where she undertook a variety of operational roles across central London. Sarah transferred to South Wales Police, where she worked as a trainer delivering the College of Policing curriculum, teaching law, legislation, and practical policing application to new recruits.

John Hyslop

John has built a career dedicated to public service, security, and education. He began his professional journey in the Army, serving first as a regular soldier (2 RGJ) and later continuing his service as a Reservist (6 MI). Following his military career, he spent more than 20 years with Greater Manchester Police, working as both a Detective and an Intelligence Officer. During this time, he gained extensive experience in investigations, intelligence gathering, and tackling complex security challenges.
