Shahab Hayat Malik is a highly experienced academic and IT professional with over 30 years of combined experience in university teaching, enterprise consulting, and digital project leadership.

Dr Amy Hogan is Head of Department for Distance Learning and has 20 years' international experience overseeing the development, delivery, and enhancement of distance and blended learning programmes.

Associate Professor Leanne Rowlands is our Head of Department for Undergraduate Psychology (Blended Learning). Leanne is a Chartered Psychologist with a teaching and research background, a senior fellow with AdvanceHE, and an Associate Teaching Fellow with the BPS. Leanne has worked within higher education for over 8 years and has a focus on teaching and learning, including curriculum design, programme enhancement, and improvement of teaching practice. Leanne’s main research interests are in emotion, the interface of cognition and emotion, and applied neuropsychology.

Project Management looks at, first of all, how to be a leader and how to take leadership of a company’s projects. I especially liked a lot the analytics and the technologies you learn about to drive on projects.

Gillian McCurdy is the Head of Department of Marketing at Arden University, where she leads a dynamic team of academics dedicated to providing high-quality education in the field of digital marketing and communications. With a strong background in digital marketing strategy, communications planning and content development, Gillian brings a wealth of industry experience and academic knowledge to her role.

Dr. Syed Ali Tarek is the Head of Department for MBA and Executive Education programmes. With over 16 years of experience, he has excelled in senior leadership roles, managing large academic teams and driving significant growth in enrolment. His teamwork has earned Arden’s MBA and EMBA global recognition as top tier programmes across the globe in CEO Magazine's 2024 edition. Dr. Tarek has contributed to quality assurance in UK higher education and advised international initiatives, including collaborations with the UN.
