Arden is a multifaceted and diverse environment with opportunities for growth which entails and feeds both staff and student enrichment and engagement. My core teaching interests revolve around the field of IT security, IT audits, governance, business strategy, and information management. Being an active researcher, my main hobbies revolve around writing papers and publishing them for knowledge empowerment.

I’m now on my first study block of the new study calendar, and I‘ve found that the two modules we are studying together really complement each other. What’s working for me is how the concepts presented by the module tutors overlap in a way that helps to understand both modules in more depth. I’m also excited about the new enrichment block which is coming later this year, where we’ll be able to focus on different areas like career development and have the chance to attend guest speaker events and other exciting activities.

My experience of the new study calendar has been very positive so far. Because the study block is now longer, at 10 weeks, we have more time to refer back to previous lessons with the tutors and understand how different concepts are connected to each other. I also prefer studying with the same group of students on each module, because we can support each other on our journey and it really feels like a family.
