Hugh Smith joined Arden University in April 2020 as a Deputy Programme Team Leader for undergraduate Accounting and Business. He has extensive experience in the banking sector; a diverse range of roles from customer services to sales management. But business and finance is not where Hugh’s experience ends, as he’s also previously taught students in tourism, travel and hospitality in the UK, Spain and Switzerland.

Dr Rodolfo Catena

Dr Rodolfo Catena is a specialist in Value-Based Health Care.

He has supported public and private organisations across the world in a list of countries including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Portugal, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.

Rodolfo has a background in engineering, he has a Master’s from UC Berkeley and two degrees from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Bologna. He supports the use of AI and Big Data solutions for Value-Based Health Care.

Jinan Abi Jumaa

A lecturer in the school of Healthcare Management (Berlin campus). She joined Arden in September 2020.  Jinan holds a master’s degree in Public Health and is a prospective Ph.D. researcher. Jinan is currently involved in conducting research on public mental health and on cultural differences refugees experience during their settlement in Europe to ensure positive health outcomes for this population. Her published works focus on transcultural psychosocial services and health promotion and prevention for minority populations.

Ukonu Obasi

Ukonu Obasi is a public health specialist with a great deal of experience in the commissioning, management, delivery and evaluation of public health programmes. Ukonu also has experience and expertise of working in a variety of exciting industries and sectors, from local authorities and the NHS, to the civil service of public health England.   

Natalie Quinn Walker

Natalie Quinn Walker is a passionate PhD student and Fellow of Royal Society of Public Health, who has excellent skills in counselling, communication and leadership. Natalie likes to think of herself as a bubbly educator, making learning more creative and bringing lightness to a subject matter that can often be challenging.  

Natalie holds a strong belief that anyone working in the education sector should have a variety of personal and professional development that exists beyond subject influences and that ‘all human knowledge is precious’.  

Elliot Brown

Elliot is a clinical neuroscientist with over 12 years of research and teaching experience, having worked in the UK, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Turkey, US and Canada, at institutions such as the University of Calgary, Kings College London and Harvard University. He has spent his career being exposed to a variety of different research environments and healthcare systems, and is a huge, proactive advocate of mental health.

Imose Itua

Dr Imose Itua is an experienced lecturer, dissertation supervisor, active researcher and author. She is currently the Deputy Programme Team leader and Module Leader for dissertation in the Healthcare Management programme at Arden University.  

Imose is vastly experienced in public health with a keen specialty in epidemiology, family planning and cardiovascular science. She has a big passion for research and is currently developing a postgraduate programme in collaboration with the programme team leader.
