Dr. Matthew Hall is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has taught a number of different modules on both BSc and MSc psychology programmes at Arden University, as well as several other higher education institutions. As an interdisciplinary scholar, Matthew has worked on many public, private and non-profit research projects. 

Dr Sophie Ward

Dr. Sophie Ward is the Deputy Head of School for Psychology at Arden University and acting Programme Lead for the MSc Psychology conversion course. Sophie is a Chartered Psychologist and has been working in Higher Education for over 8 years, both in professional services and academia. Her main area of interest is Occupational Psychology, with her most recent research exploring the sources of and reactions to work frustration, testing multiple models using mixed methodology. 

Harriet Jones

Harriet is a law academic and former associate head with a focus on access to justice, mediation, and practical legal training. She is an RICS accredited mediator who is hoping to start a PhD on international mediation and access to justice. Harriet graduated from the University of Hull with a LLB Law (Hons) degree and later went on to achieve a Bar Professional Training Course. Harriet was called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2012 and continues to be very actively involved with the legal profession.

Dr Kim Marsh

Dr Kimberley Marsh founded Arden’s Criminology and Social Science Research Group and is the coordinator for guest speakers within the department. She has taught on several different modules in Criminology at Arden University and The University of Manchester. In addition, she has carried out government-funded research, looking into improving the life chances of looked after children and care leavers in the UK. Kimberley's research interests focus on attachment, parenting styles, and behavioural responses. 

Rajeswari Matam

Dr. Rajeswari Matam has taught a number of different modules on both BSc and MSc Computing programmes at Arden University, as well as at several other higher education institutions. As an interdisciplinary scholar, Rajeswari has worked on many public, private and non-profit research projects. She actively publishes, and her research publications have focused on data security, biomedical signal processing, time-series prediction, population studies, and data analytics.

Joan Gunde

Joan Mtisunge Gunde has more than 4 years of experience in delivering healthcare management at the 4/5/6 levels. Teaching and education have played a major role in Joan’s life, beginning as early as being selected as the school prefect in secondary school. Joan comes from a long line of teachers and lecturers, with her grandfather, three aunties, brother, and two cousins all teaching. Joan loves working with people hence she obtained Master of Science in Sexual Health and Public Health at Oxford Brookes University where she is completing her Postgraduate Certificate (PGTCHE).

Ms. Lou Wells

Lou Wells has a Masters: Childhood and Youth and a Post Graduate Diploma Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector. 
She is a Module Leader for two modules at Arden University. She teaches across the levels of Foundation, 4, 5 and 6 in Healthcare Management and supervises dissertations. 

She has many years of experience both working in health and social care and teaching across a variety of different educational levels including work-based learning. She has worked across many disciplines within health and social care both nationally and overseas.

Dr Stephanie West

Stephanie West joined Arden University in November 2020 as Head of the School of Health and Care Management. In addition to her wealth of healthcare industry experience, Stephanie has held a number of Senior Academic and Leadership positions in Health, Social Care and Applied Science faculties at a variety of universities across the UK. Stephanie will provide leadership to the School of Healthcare Management, ensuring that it delivers high quality academic provision and student satisfaction across all courses.
 

Dr Liam Fassam

Liam is a thought leader, researcher and implementer of collaborative logistics and supply chain solutions that embrace a systems and social value view, supported with knowledge from a senior management career spanning over 30 years. During this period of time, Liam has implemented and operated FMCG networks globally for the likes of Apple, HP and Dell. He has operated at board level developing supply chain systems thinking and change for Ireland's leading foodservice network, and consulted to a number of leading food supply chain change initiatives.

Dr Serkan Ceylan

Dr Serkan Ceylan joined us in 2021 as our Head of School of Project Management. Serkan was born in Hamburg, Germany, and moved to the UK in 2006. He has visiting Professorships/Lectureships in Germany, Spain, Finland and France, and has undertaken external examiner duties for Universities such as Lancaster University and the University of Bedfordshire.
